Hungarian Mushroom Soup
I always order this soup for it's nutritious value. I add some Taco walnuts for a little crunch and flavor and it is delicious. Especially during these times as mushrooms are an excellent food for respiratory immunity!
Over Grains: Heat and enjoy over quinoa or your favorite cooked whole grain. Optional: Top with fresh dill or parsley.
Mushroom Stroganoff: Heat and enjoy over brown rice pasta. Optional: Top with fresh parsley.
Casserole: Layer into a lasagna or tetrazzini before baking. -Gravy: Heat and enjoy over baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, veggie loaf, mashed cauliflower, stuffing, or steamed veggies. For thicker gravy heat in a stovetop pan until thick.
Mushroom Risotto: Mix with brown rice and heat.
