Oats, sweet onions, garbanzo beans, zucchini, mushrooms, red peppers, spinach, tomatoes, carrots, garlic, spices, sea salt, black pepper, fennel, walnuts, low-sodium tamari

Breakfast Sandwich: Layer into a breakfast sandwich with sliced red onion, sliced avocado, and sliced tomato. For optional “egg” layer: 1 slice of tofu sauteed with a splash of tamari, garlic powder and a dusting of turmeric for color.

With Peppers and Onions: Saute peppers and onions until soft. Break up your MamaSezz Breakfast Sausage and add to the mix. Enjoy in a pile, or on a sandwich.

Always in my order!

I love the taste of these breakfast sausages, plus you get six large sausages, so I usually eat one with my Breakfast Scramble and have some leftover to eat with my own dishes.

Could Be Better

This breakfast sausage is okay, but it is more like small veggie burgers. It needs sage to make it taste sausage-like. The texture is a bit strange, but not unpleasant. I do like this, but without sage it just does not give you that sausage taste. I cannot imagine eating this with, say, pancakes, due to the flavor profile, but it is a good side for something like a scramble or a potato dish.

How can this be so good?

Every time I eat this for breakfast--usually crumbled and water-sauteed with tomato, onion, pepper and sometimes mushrooms and some avocado--I can't believe my luck for finding Mamasezz. I'm full for hours and feel like I ate exactly what I WANTED to eat. And knowing it's packed full of nutrients and nothing "bad" is the best of all.

Gotta admit - we enjoy with eggs

So, we don’t go full plant based with these typically, but they make tasty sausage substitutes with eggs. We often stretch them further by crumbling into a scrambled egg in a soufflé cup and microwaving fir 1 minute to make a lovely egg sandwich. I add a teaspoon of kite hill almond cream cheese to the scramble for even more depth. A super filling breafast/brunch on a toasted slice of seeded thin wheat bread smeared with dijon.
