Our Veggie Sausage is a shining example of just that! Our whole food plant-based sausage tastes good in just about everything, but if you’re not sure where to start, let me introduce you to the healthiest breakfast skillet you’ve ever eaten!
With just 5 ingredients, one being water and another being our ready-made Veggie Sausage, you don’t need to worry about turning your brain on until AFTER your morning coffee. Want to get creative? Load this plant-based breakfast skillet on a slice of avocado toast! Fuel your day with all of the natural proteins and nutrients that plant-based foods have to offer, minus the cholesterol!
Prep Time: 6-8 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
-1 onion, sliced
-2 peppers, sliced
-1 ½ tbs of Tamari*
-1 cup of water (for cooking)
-1 pack of MamaSezz Veggie Sausage (6 patties)
- Sauté onions in a few TBS of water until soft. Add water each time the onions appear to be sticking to the pan. This should take just over 15 minutes
- Add peppers, and cook until soft. Again, add water to prevent sticking
- Crumble MamaSezz Veggie Sausage into the pan, and heat
- Add tamari and sauté until the moisture cooks off
*for a lower sodium option eliminate the Tamari
