Easy Vegan Alfredo Sauce With Broccoli and Pasta

Time for you to rejoice because vegan alfredo sauce is a real thing. 

This easy vegan alfredo sauce recipe includes whole food plant based pasta and broccoli. It's a healthy spin on your not so healthy favorite and makes the perfect quick and nutritious weeknight vegan pasta dish.

Our vegan alfredo pasta dishes are made with MamaSezz Mama’s Mac Sauce. You'll love it. It's cholesterol free, low fat, and packed with protein and iron. If you don't have MamaSezz Mama's Mac Sauce in your fridge substitute our favorite vegan alfredo cashew cream recipe (see below).

Ingredients

1 small head of broccoli, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1/2 a cup of veggie broth, low sodium
1 cup of vegan alfredo sauce - Mama’s Mac Sauce
⅓ pound of dry pasta
black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Add to boiling water

⅓ of a pound of dry whole food plant-based pasta of choice and cook until al dente (check pasta package for specific cook times)

While pasta’s cooking, de-stem, and chop

broccoli into small pieces

Then saute until soft (about 10 minutes)...

Broccoli pieces and veggie broth 

Now add…

Crushed garlic and cook for 5 more minutes

Finally…

Mix cooked pasta together garlic, broccoli, and Mama’s Mac Sauce.

 Finish with…

Black pepper to taste.

This tastes great garnished with fresh chopped basil or oregano.

Homemade Cashew Cream Sauce

Soak covered in water...

2 cups raw cashews

Add to the bowl of a food processor and blend with...

zest and juice and of 1 lemon
2 Tablespoons nutritional yeast
fresh ground pepper to taste
pinch of sea salt to taste
