Super easy oil free tofu marinade

Tofu is delicious. But you know what makes tofu so delicious? It’s all about the sauce! Just like any other protein, tofu is a vehicle for flavor, making it one of the most versatile foods on the planet. That’s why it’s popularity has spread throughout the continents! This particular oil-free tofu marinade is so simple, packed with flavor, and classically delicious.

Ingredients 

3 TBS of tamari
2 1/2 limes, squeezed 
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 teaspoon of maple or date syrup 
1 pack of tofu 
Red pepper flakes 

Directions 

  1. Press 1 block of tofu
  2. Cut tofu into squares
  3. Marinate in all of the ingredients for 4+ hours
  4. Fry in a nonstick stovetop pan until crispy. 
  5. Enjoy in a wrap, over a bowl of rice, in a buddha bowl, or as the center of your plate.
