We're super excited about our newest savory plant-based breakfast dish: our Veggie Sausage. Packed with protein and all the flavors you grew up with, this cholesterol-free dish is great as is or dressed up.
How, exactly, would one dress it up? Chef Caroline's back it with her top 10 favorite ways to enjoy our Veggie Sausage:
1. In a breakfast sandwich! Heat, and place inside of a toasted whole grain bun with sliced avocado, red onion, our dairy-free Mama's Mac Sauce, and sliced tomato.
2. In a scramble! Mix into your favorite veggie breakfast scramble (or try our ready-made MamaSezz Turmeric Chickpea Scramble).
3. Crumble into oil-free home fries!
5. Enjoy drizzled with maple syrup next to plant-based pancakes.
6. Crumble into a taco shell along with sautéed peppers and onions, top with guacamole and you've got breakfast tacos!
7. Shape into links for a more traditional look. Serve with vegan blueberry lemon french toast.
8. Steam spinach and mix with Mama’s Mac Sauce, spread onto a whole grain bun, and add your sausage patties for a healthy creamy spinach breakfast sandwich.
9. Crumble over MamaSezz Scalloped Potatoes.
10. Crumble onto a WFPBNO pizza crust with peppers, onions, salsa, and Mama’s Mac Sauce for a southwest breakfast pizza.
